Our History

Since 1990, Countryside BBQ has served heaping plates of fresh-chopped barbeque, hand-battered chicken tenders, and fresh vegetables - all with a side of southern hospitality and small-town charm.

Countryside has been a community favorite since Gary and Lanetta Byrd opened the doors thirty -five years ago. In 2006, ownership and management of the restaurant moved to Marion locals Rob Noyes III and David Ditt. Under their ownership, Countryside has continued to grow and expand community involvement and menu selections. However, one aspect has not changed throughout the years--the friendly, welcoming service.
